Branchline Class 170 Turbo Star
The popular Branchline 00 scale class 170 Turbo Star models will soon be available in three new liveries. These versatile Diesel Multiple units can be seen running on all parts of the National Rail Network making them an ideal addition for many model railways. All of these models are classified as ERA 9.

Seen above is item 32-464 in ONE Livery, these units could be seen working services from London into Norfolk and East Anglia.

All Branchline Turbo Star models feature working directionally controlled headlights. Above is item number 32-465 painted in the recently launched Cross Country livery.

The final item from this trio is item 32-466 sporting the latest London Midland City livery and branding
Branchline Standard 4MT
The all new Branchline Standard 4MT 4-6-0 locomotive is due to arrive in the next few weeks. This impressive new loco replaces the original model, originally produced in the 1970's.

The new models are a totally new design and manufacture. They incorporate the now standard Digital interface and smooth loco drive mechanism.
A great new feature on these particular models is the three part lining of the livery. This is the first time that we have incorporated this amazing level of livery detail on any Branchline model.

Also, these new models will feature the new style of Branchline packaging designed by our marketing designer Carrie Bell. This new style of packaging will introduced across the entire range in the near future.

Branchline VDA Vans
Soon to arrive at your local Bachmann Model store are the brand new Branchline VDA vans.


This common style of covered van were originally introduced by British Railways in the 1970's. Their usefulness on country wide freight operations has meant that many of these wagons are still hard at work in all parts of the Railway network.


Branchline The BDA bolster wagons
The BDA bolster wagons are designed to have a gross laden weight of 80Tons. These large bogie wagons can be see in all parts of England, Wales and Scotland performing a large range of duties. Their main tasks are related in engineering duties.

This all new Branchline OO scale model will soon be available from your local Bachmann retailer and is shown above painted in English, Wales and Scottish livery.
New Graham Farish items
Development work on the brand new Graham Farish Class 08 is now very well advanced. Here is the latest image of our newest N scale 0-6-0 diesel shunter. Item number 371-015 in British Railways Blue livery.

Further samples of eagerly awaited Graham Farish items have now arrived for further testing and evaluation.

New Graham Farish Royal Scot Locomotive
Bachmann Europe Plc are delighted to announce the launch of a brand new Graham Farish Royal Scot locomotive. This exciting new model is now well advanced with engineering samples having been under evaluation for some time. These N scale models will include a 6 Pin DCC interface, separate hand rails and be made available with two types of Smoke deflector
Bachmann 175th. Anniversary
To celebrate the 175 Anniversary of the Bachmann brand. Bachmann Europe Plc have produced a Limited Edition solid pewter static model of the famous Stockton & Darlington Railway locomotive 'Locomotion No.1'. This locomotive was built by Robert Stephenson & Co and hauled the first train at the opening of the Stockton & Darlington Railway on 27 September 1825. It was withdrawn in 1828, the year in which Bachmann began trading, and was rebuilt utilising improved technology before being finally withdrawn in 1841 to become a stationary engine.

It was preserved in 1857 and remains part of the National Railway Museum collection. This exceptional O gauge model is supplied complete with wooden plinth, clear display case and certificate. Branchline Class 150
Seen here are first images from the recently received Branchline Class 150 samples. This Modern Diesel Multiple Unit model will be popular with modellers and collectors, as the actual units run to all parts of the British rail network.

Both the 150/1 and the 150/2 variants will be made available. The 150/2 incorporating a end corridor connection on the cab front.

Many new features will be incorporated into these models including a new electrical coupling system that will mitigate the use of two DCC decoders for digital operation.
New Scencraft OO Scale Models
Following the successful launch of the Scenecraft buildings at the British Toyfair, a second series of ready made OO scale models is soon to be made available.



Several of these brand new items will enable the user to construct a very realistic modern maintenance depot, for either locomotives or rolling stock. A wash plant for either Locomotives or rolling stock, and a fuelling point can be sighted very easily adding interest to any shed themed scene.
