British Royal Navy Fairey Barracuda Mk II WWII Torpedo Bomber.
British carrier-based torpedo and dive bomber developed during the Second World War. Known for its distinctive high-wing, monoplane design, it was the first British aircraft of its type to be all-metal. The Barracuda served primarily with the Fleet Air Arm, engaging in anti-submarine warfare, reconnaissance, and bombing missions. Notably, it played a key role in the 1944 attack on the German battleship Tirpitz. Though initially hindered by performance and reliability issues, the Barracuda proved versatile and remained in service until the early 1950s.
