Capetown or Carlisle Class Royal Navy Cruiser, completed mid 1919, pre-war deployment to the East Indies, America, West Indies and Mediterranean, then to Reserve Fleet. WW2 service in the Atlantic, Sicily, Aegean, South of France and the Adriatic. Converted to AA (Anti-aircraft) Cruiser in 1942/43. Laid up in mid-1945 and sold for breaking in early 1948.
