C-5M Super Galaxy.
From 2006 to 2014 some fifty-two C-5A, C-5B and C-5C Galaxy variants were converted to the latest C-5M standard. The upgrades involved the power installation, significantly improving flight characteristics, complete replacement of the avionics, improved design of fuselage, undercarriage and life support systems. The C-5M programme extends the service life one of the world's main heavy-duty transport aircraft to 2040.
