German Vomag 8 LR LKW Heavy Truck, 1941/42.
Heavy 6-wheel truck produced by the VOMAG vehicle engineering company in Germany from 1935 to 1939. One hundred of these trucks were produced, used primarily for transporting large cargoes throughout the country on the newly built autobahns.
When World War II broke out, the VOMAG 8 LR was requisitioned by the Wehrmacht, but it saw very limited military service due to the complexity of its suspension design. The few trucks that were converted into equipment carriers were used on the Eastern Front until mid-1943.
