Self-propelled Howitzer (SPH) developed by the United States Army in the 1990s, intended to replace the M109A6 Paladin, the US Army's primary self-propelled howitzer at the time. The XM2001 Crusader program was cancelled before any were built, due to cost concerns and the perceived lack of a significant enough improvement over the M109A6.
