The Regiments Collection replaced the old Redcoats & Bluecoats ranges. There was a need to expand the storyline to include troops beyond those serving in North America or the United Kingdom. The Regiments Collection does just that. Our first full grouping reflects the wonderful period in the transition of military clothing from the 18th century to the early 19th century featuring the British 10th Light Dragoons. In 1783, King George III ordered the regiment to change its title from Dragoons to Light Dragoons and renamed it after his eldest son. HRH George Augustus Frederick, Price of Wales, who became its colonel in 1796. The King, his son, and members of the Horse Guards are sculpted as they would have appeared in the late 1790s, reviewing the previously released members of the 10th Light Dragoons.
